After Hurricane Ida, River Construction replaced 240 linear feet of 30” HDPE

Description:
River Construction constructed Stolt-Neilsen Terminals’ Docks 3 and 4 to meet
demand and enhance customer experience at one of its bulk liquid and gas storage services on
the lower Mississippi River. The project involved installation of 36 owner-supplied timber pilings,
provision and installation of 30” and 36” steel pipe pilings, construction and installation of
transitional pipe rack and pipe way, roadway and walkway structures, setting owner-supplied
materials, and all land side concrete work. River Construction worked in partnership with the
Stolt Comex, Stolt-Neilsen’s general contracting arm, to accomplish this job.

Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge Utility Pipeline Project

Description:
River Construction constructed the water pipelines associated with the US Highway
331 Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge. The project involved procurement, fabrication, and installation
of materials and coating touch-ups for two parallel 6,500+ linear foot reclaimed and potable
water pipelines totaling 13,000 linear feet, 700 steel pipe hangars, and pipe sleeves and steel
hose clamps for 90 abatement partitions. River Construction’s expertise was relied upon for
establishing baseline information about the utilities, which was provided to the Regional Utilities
as guidance for future maintenance and repairs.

Description:
River Construction replaced the floating barge dock serving Docks 10 and 11 at
IMTT’s bulk liquid storage terminal. The project required demolition of existing structures and
removal of the old barge dock as well as transportation and installation of a new owner-
furnished barge dock and dolphin monopiles. Barge dock installation involved finishing of
owner-furnished materials and procurement, fabrication, coating, and installation of additional
materials. River Construction also performed the related mechanical and electrical work and
provided pneumatic testing of all product lines before delivering the project to IMTT.

Description:
River Construction cleared the way for Bunge Grain facility improvements through
the demolition of its dock on the lower Mississippi River. Demolition included the barge slip silt,
offshore breasting dolphin, fender walls, miscellaneous steel structures, the access bridge and
walkways, and the remaining concrete dock sections. River Construction adhered to Bunge
Global Safety Standards while ensuring the removal of all structures and debris to the mudline
as well as the elevation of -18 feet in an area specified by the US Army Corps of Engineer.

Cargill Westwego Buhler Ship Loader 1 Replacement

River Construction upgraded Cargill Westwego’s old Buhler Ship Loader 1 by
replacing it with a new one. This involved structural steel demolitions, the provision, fabrication,
coating, and installation of structural modifications, and installation of a new ship loader and all
its components, a new transfer conveyor, and a new dust control system. Official commissioning
involved tests, trials, and system check-outs conducted in partnership with Cargill Westwego.

ADM Reserve Tower #4 Foundation Fabrication

River Construction expanded and upgraded ADM Reserve’s facility on the lower
Mississippi River by constructing Tower #4 from the foundation. The project involved
assembling and installing Tower #4 to include a new Buhler Boom, modifying the adjacent tower
to accommodate a new truss, extending the gallery conveyor from the adjacent tower to Tower
#4, relocating the bullgear and swing drive from the adjacent tower to Tower #4, and removing
the old Buhler Boom from the adjacent tower. River Construction delivered the project during
ADM’s planned facility shutdown to minimize the projects disruption to operations.
