“ Bill Weidner established River Construction Inc. on April 1, 1987. River Construction has been providing marine heavy construction to the grain, oil and petro chemical Industry on the Mississippi River and Gulf Coast for the past 38 years.  Bill graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Civil Engineering. “

Wilson Sharp joined River Construction in September 2024 bringing extensive knowledge in the marine and industrial  industries.

Our founder’s technical ability, business savvy, and connections have mapped a bright future for what has become the preeminent marine construction contractor from Houston to Mobile and Baton Rouge to Venice.

Field Supervisors

River Construction Field Supervisors are responsible for quickly and safely delivering top-quality, cost-effective marine projects and services to our clients. They are tasked with meeting our high standards by effectively managing our workforce in the field and using our feedback systems to support continued improvement in operations. Our Field Supervisors are our corporate culture ambassadors who ensure we continue to set the performance bar for our clients, region and beyond.

ALL our field talent — Superintendents, Operators, and Riggers — are certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators.
